Prepare to Uplevel
Hi! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Julia Pleasant and I am an integrative and functional registered dietitian. I help individuals from all walks of life optimize their nutrition, health, and wellness through a holistic, weight-inclusive, and personalized approach. One of my core beliefs as a practitioner is that YOU are the expert of your own body. I'm simply here to guide, educate, and empower you along your healing journey.
My Philosophy
On Health & Wellness
Health is so much more than just the absence of disease--it encompasses joy, purpose, connection, well-being, balance, and adaptation. As such, each person's health is multidimensional, unique, and constantly evolving. The journey towards healing that most people make is non-linear and deserves to be honored through all of its wanderings. I trust that you are the expert of your own body and look forward to collaborating with you.

On Diet and Nutrition
Food is one of the most potent tools in the prevention and management of dis-ease. Unfortunately, our western world is rife with dietary dogmas, fads, misinformation, and extremes. I believe that what we should eat comes down to two simple words: REAL FOOD, enjoyed with flexibility, pleasure, and presence.

My Approach
Uplevel Nutrition is your ally in achieving optimal health through nutrient-dense whole foods, targeted supplementation, and bite-sized habit changes. Say goodbye to trendy "cookie cutter" diet fads or gimmicks--as a licensed Registered Dietitian, I provide personalized food and wellness coaching to help you reach your health goals. Our sessions together will incorporate a combination of evidence-based nutrition education, realistic goal setting, strategizing for success, and mind-body techniques. This translates to a whole-body approach to wellness that not only addresses symptoms, but provides a sustainable and life-changing result.
